I recently finished The Bookshop at Water's End, by Patti Callahan Henry, I love her. I am also an avid romance reader and read the latests by Christina Lauren, Ali Hazelwood, and Emily Henry... I would recommend any of them!
I thought of you often as I listened/read this book. Contrary to what you may believe, you were a wonderful Stage Manager! I loved working with you so much. Even though we didn't work together much because you graduated, I looked up to you as one of the performers I wanted to emulate. I have taken notes on your recommendations and adding them to my "want to read list!" After all, you are my expert on all things books! :)
You are very kind. I do love to read. I also love to write, but I have a hard time applying the seat of my pants to the seat of my chair... there are so many easier distractions, like a good book that has already been published!
